Aluminate – Celebrating a night of stars

Aluminate is our annual celebration of alumni excellence.

An evening dedicated to honouring the remarkable achievements of ECU graduates who make a difference across diverse fields.

Guests are treated to an unforgettable evening filled with world-class entertainment, culminating in the announcement of the latest Alumni Award winners.  

Aluminate 2025 will be held on Thursday, 30 October.

Entertainment

This special evening will both showcase and celebrate the extraordinary talent of our ECU alumni community.

Headlining the evening will be a performance from Australian-American soprano, and last year’s ECU Young Alumni Award Winner, Amy Manford (pictured, image credit Jarrad Seng).

You can also catch talented, young multi-instrumentalist and fellow WAAPA alum Charlie Youngson.

Our MC for the evening is broadcasting alumna and recent recipient of Business News 40under40, Cassie Silver.

Aluminate sees the presentation of the Alumni Awards! Who will join our impressive list of previous winners? Our past recipients are amazing people who have made significant impacts in a wide range of fields, both locally and internationally.

Hospitality

This year we will be introducing table-style seating for the Awards, with opportunities for mingling over drinks and canapes beforehand, so you can enjoy a wonderful evening with colleagues and alumni.

Inspiring Minds Scholarship

Help change lives

Proceeds from ticket sales will be put towards life-changing scholarships for ECU students, because we want to give all future stars the opportunity to realise their academic dreams, regardless of their financial situation.

In 2024, we raised over $8,000 towards the Inspiring Minds Scholarship fund.
