Our courses and world-class facilities are developed in consultation with industry to ensure our students  gain the relevant skills and knowledge to hit the ground running, through a balance of theory and practical learning.

Sport and recreation

ECU offers a range of opportunities for people to connect through sport. Sporting options at ECU range from drop-in sessions to representing ECU through UniSport, ensuring there's a pathway for everyone to participate.

ECU Sport and Fitness Centres at our Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses offer gym memberships, fitness classes and free ECU student sports programs to suit all ages and abilities.

Sport partnerships and community

ECU has many partnerships and strong industry links that provide work integrated learning opportunities within the sporting industry.

This provides our students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience, internships, or placements with organisations such as the West Coast Eagles, Perth Glory, Perth Heat, Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) and numerous other sporting organisations locally, nationally and internationally.
