About this VET Specialisation
This specialisation is structured to extend training in the principles, techniques and processes required in designing set and costumes for live production, including theatre, opera, dance and music theatre.
Building on visualisation and research skills, students are confronted, as a learning experience, with challenging design projects for sets, props and costumes. Further extending skills via practical application in set and costume design roles on WAAPA productions. Students also attend classes in drawing, model making, scenic painting, vision design and computer aided design.
