About this Major
This major is designed to prepare graduates for the rapidly evolving nutrition and health landscape, which requires multi-skilled and agile professionals capable of working across sectors and disciplines.
Graduates will be equipped with the clinical and technical skills to meet, and solve, the current and future nutrition-related health needs of the community. Students will learn about mechanisms and functions of the human body with a focus on the role of nutrition in health.

Career opportunities exist for graduates within the diverse field of nutrition which includes settings such as sports, corporate, lifestyle, aged care, and childhood nutrition. Graduates will also be uniquely positioned to apply their skills to the continuously changing, dynamic profession of biomedical science including specialised laboratory technicians and research.
