About this Specialisation
The Science specialisation equips you with key understandings of science education and provides the extended content knowledge required to address the demands and opportunities of the 7-10 secondary school science curriculum.
Emphasis is given to inquiry-based practical work, demonstrations, co-operative group work, whole class discussions and use of information communication technology, to ensure effective learning and teaching practices in secondary science. Planning, teaching, and assessment strategies are developed within a range of science content areas.
