Experiences

Student stories

Every unit from my degree has been helpful and I have been able to put the skills I have learnt into practice in the classroom.

I have a love for art that I wanted to be able to share with others, so I decided to study Secondary Education at ECU with a major in Visual Arts. I believe ECU is the best university for Teacher Education as they have a variety of disciplines, and provide so much real life experience in classrooms.

I was a bit nervous about going out on practicum placement at first, but this experience helped confirm that teaching was the career I want to pursue.
