About this Minor

Through lectures and practical workshop sessions focusing upon dance styles and technique, students learn how to teach this content effectively, as well as learn about the issues and challenges facing dance in secondary schools.

Special entry requirements

All applicants are required to have intermediate or above experience in dance.

Structure

Students are required to complete 4 Content units and 2 Curriculum units. Content units educate students in the subject area and the Curriculum units explain how to teach the subject area to others.
