About this Major
Designed to prepare graduates for the rapidly evolving exercise, nutrition and health landscapes, which requires multi-skilled and agile professionals who are capable of working across sectors and disciplines.
Graduates will obtain a strong foundation in the science of exercise and nutrition, including human anatomy and physiology and biochemistry, together with practical skills in assessment, design and implementation of exercise programs and general nutrition advice.

Membership
Students can apply for membership with Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA).
Students can apply for membership with Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA). Graduates, who complete this nutrition major within a science degree, are eligible to apply to the Nutrition Society of Australia's Register of Nutritionists.

Career opportunities exist for graduates within nutrition and exercise, two highly complementary fields. Employment settings could include government and non-government organisations across sports, corporate, lifestyle, aged care, and childhood nutrition.
