About this PhD Unit Set
Civil and Environmental Engineering research concentrates on problems in broad areas of infrastructure in order to make the construction cost-effective, environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Specific postgraduate research topics are developed in conjunction with the postgraduate coordinator or potential supervisor, however applications are particularly encouraged from those with an interest in: Environmental and water engineering; Geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering; Pavement and mining geotechnics; and Structural engineering.
Special entry requirements
It is desirable that all applicants do not contact potential supervisors before applying. Applicants will be matched with a suitable supervisor if successful in gaining course admission.
