This course provides the theory and methods for the statistics and mathematical modelling used in the analysis of data arising in the earth and environmental sciences. The course covers variography and spatial estimation and simulation techniques with a focus on the application to data from a variety of backgrounds.

All applicants are required to have a 3 year Bachelor's degree with a Major that includes a mathematics/statistics component when using prior qualifications as a basis for application, with equivalents considered.
