The Graduate Certificate of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Leadership is designed to build key leadership capability in Australia’s corporate sector by offering an accessible, topical, and engaging course of study. The program focusses on corporate responsibility, leadership, practice, reporting and investment, oriented through the environmental, social and governance (ESG) paradigm. The ESG paradigm has become very prominent in corporate Australia in recent years owing to its inherent ability to pitch corporate dialogue, focused on de-carbonisation, sustainability, ethical practice, combatting modern slavery, as well as employee and supply chain health, safety and wellbeing, in an appealing, positive and market-oriented manner, which benefits corporations and promotes societal wellbeing.
