This highly practical, nationally-recognised qualification prepares students as actors who specialise in music theatre. Students will develop skills in acting, singing and dancing, and the important integration of all three of these disciplines. This full-time, dynamic course is provides students a range of opportunities to perform in both small and large-scale performances. Many graduates use this course as a pathway to specialist Music Theatre Bachelor programs in the future.

All applicants are required to attend an audition, and attend an interview, and normally be turning 18 by 30 June in the year of commencing the course.
Portfolio pathway applications are not accepted for this course.
This course has been accredited by ECU as an AQF Level 5 Diploma Award.
Students may be required to attend evening and weekend classes, rehearsals and performances.
Students complete 6 core units and 10 elective units, in accordance with CUA50220 Diploma of Musical Theatre packaging rules.
