Graduate Diploma of Supply Chain and Logistics Management

The Graduate Diploma of Supply Chain and Logistics Management builds on the knowledge, competencies and skills gained in the Graduate Certificate and develops higher-level Supply Chain and Logistics Management (SCLM) capabilities and broader business understanding. This course forms the second stage in a three-stage suite of postgraduate Supply Chain and Logistics Management (SCLM) courses consisting of the Graduate Certificate of SCLM and the Master of SCLM. This course provides opportunities for employees and professionals to enhance their personal and professional outcomes and gain a deeper understanding of the business context of supply chain management. This includes subjects such managing people and organisations, marketing leadership, the fundamentals of value creation in business, supply chain management, supply chain analytics and global logistics.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate advanced understanding of a global body of business knowledge and practice by initiating, planning, implementing and evaluating tasks in a business setting.
  2. Apply high level, independent judgement when analysing complex business situations to generate creative solutions.
  3. Communicate advanced knowledge, concepts and skills to a variety of audiences in business settings.
  4. Critique complex business issues considering the ethical and social consequence.

Admission requirements

Admission requirement (Band 6)

  • Bachelor degree; or
  • Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience.

English Language requirement (Band 4)

English competency requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • IELTS Academic Overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0);
  • Bachelor degree from a country specified in the Admissions Policy;
  • Successfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at postgraduate level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent);
  • Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years relevant professional experience; or
  • Other tests, courses or programs as defined in the Admissions Policy.

Course Specific Admission Requirements

All applicants are required to meet the published entry requirements. Alternatively applicants may apply with a Graduate Certificate of Supply Chain and Logistic Management.

Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level

This course has been accredited by ECU as an AQF Level 8 Graduate Diploma Award.
