Diploma in Language Studies

Are you into Japanese manga, anime, novels, films, games, technology, cuisines or Tokyo fashion? Perhaps creators such as Miyazaki Hayao or Murakami Haruki? Find your own version of cool Japan by learning the language. In this course, students learn all aspects of the Japanese language and concentrate on developing practical communicative competence in Japanese. The Japanese exchange programs also enable students to explore both modern and traditional Japan by studying at one of the exchange partner universities. Students can also accelerate the completion of the Diploma by going on exchange and also can significantly improve their language skills through the immersion context. The Japanese (From Introductory) major is suitable for complete beginners of Japanese.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Apply theoretical and practical knowledge of a modern languages.
