This course provides an opportunity for motivated and academically capable primary teachers to re-train in a learning area of great demand. An emphasis upon both Australian Curriculum content and best teaching practice for late primary and early secondary students in Australian schools is a strong and consistent theme across all units. The specialisation provides a refresher and a consolidation of content skills in mathematics up to and including Year 10, and also closely examines the learning needs of students as they transition in mathematics from primary to secondary school. The course is supported by both highly organised materials and flexible delivery for off-campus.
This course information may be updated and amended immediately prior to semester. To ensure you have the correct outline, please check it again at the beginning of semester.
