This course provides both a refresher and a consolidation of content skills for motivated and academically capable teachers to re-train in the teaching of Design and Technology up to and including Year 10. An emphasis upon both curriculum content and best teaching practice in Western Australian secondary schools is a strong and consistent theme in the pedagogy and content units. The course is supported by both highly-organised materials and flexible delivery for online units, and includes the offer of professional mentoring assistance as an ongoing aid to early teaching in the discipline.
This course information may be updated and amended immediately prior to semester. To ensure you have the correct outline, please check it again at the beginning of semester. In particular please check the course requirements and the unit and unit set offerings, as these differ according to course delivery location.
