Graduate Certificate in Patient Safety and Clinical Risk

This course provides the opportunity for healthcare professionals to undertake study in a range of aspects within patient safety and clinical risk. The course content is based upon key clinical indicators and their application in practice. This course may also be an alternate pathway into the Master of Healthcare Studies.

Admission requirements

  • Bachelor degree; or
  • Equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience

Course Specific Admission Requirements

All students are required to have completed a bachelor degree in a health-related discipline, and provide a copy of their resume, and to be employed for a minimum of twenty hours per week in a healthcare setting. It is desirable that all students have a minimum of two years postgraduate experience in a clinical setting.
