Diploma in Aviation

This course provides an introduction to the aviation industry for aviation professionals or those aspiring towards a career in aviation. This program equips students by upgrading their knowledge and skills, in order to expand their career options. Whilst the Diploma qualification will be attractive in its own right, it also provides a pathway into a full degree program in Aviation with an additional two years of study.

Course Learning Outcomes

Admission requirements

Admission requirement (Band 2)

All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published (where applicable) or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • Year 12 completion or equivalent.

English Language requirement (Band 2)

English competency requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • Year 12 General English grade C or better;
  • Special Tertiary Admissions Test; or
  • Other tests, courses or programs as defined in the Admissions Policy.

Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level

This course has been accredited by ECU as an AQF Level 5 Diploma Award.
