Bachelor of Health Science Honours

Effective from 01-JAN-2015 : Code Y17

This course qualifies individuals to apply a body of knowledge in a public health context to undertake professional work, and provides a pathway for research and further learning. Graduates will have coherent and advanced knowledge of the underlying principles and concepts in a population health discipline and knowledge of research principles and methods.

Admission requirements

  • Students will only be admitted to Honours where the specified weighted average mark is achieved in preceding studies.

Course Specific Admission Requirements

All students are required to have a Bachelor of Health Science degree with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 per cent or higher, a WAM of 70 per cent or higher in the major units, or a WAM of 70 per cent or higher in the Level 2000 and Level 3000 units, with equivalents considered.

Requirements as at 01-JAN-2017: All students are required to have a Bachelor of Health Science degree and normally require a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 per cent or higher, with equivalents considered.

Portfolio pathway applications are not accepted for this course.
