Bachelor of Planning

Effective from 01-JAN-2015 : Code Y94

This course has been designed to enable students to succeed in their chosen area of planning. It draws on the University's broadly-based expertise and provides a comprehensive and innovative planning program. The course focuses on the application of the quadruple bottom line with its emphasis on environmental, social, economic and governance accountability within a framework of sustainability. The range of units in these studies reflects the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary nature of the planning profession.

Practicum Requirement

Students have the opportunity to shadow a professional planner in a private practice or government planning department.

Attendance requirements

Students are required to attend a private practice or government department for three days.

Enrolment process

This activity is undertaken within the unit PLN2605 Practice of Planning.

Professional practice rules

Students are provided with information on required behaviour in the workplace.

Students can apply for membership with Planning Institute of Australia . Graduates are eligible for membership with Planning Institute of Australia .
