This unit introduces students to the marketing framework as it applies to the arts and entertainment industries, and places marketing tools such as targeting, positioning and the marketing mix within a strategic marketing perspective. There is a focus on the factors influencing arts marketing activity, and current and emerging industry practices are explored.
