In this unit, students will work collaboratively from a practical and experiential drama focus to develop confidence, understanding and skills in performance and stagecraft. Concurrently, students will critically reflect on the role of the Arts in children's lives and education and the value of Arts' integration. Students will be given the opportunity to analyse and synthesise abstract drama concepts to create and communicate meaningful performance work to an authentic audience. The work will be supported through the investigation and analysis of historical and contemporary pedagogical approaches in drama education.

Workshop based on creative and collaborative learning processes and self-devised performance work research. Application of performance skills and arts research and knowledge demonstrated in a practical performance.
