This unit will investigate the legal and ethical requirements pertaining to the use of assisted reproductive technologies. This will include an examination of the impact of culture and religion on attitudes towards Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Effective communication with patients relating to ART treatment outcomes will also be addressed. Students will plan, execute and report on an ART-related research project.
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
Students will attend on campus classes as well as engage in learning activities through ECU Blackboard.
