This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop, implement and maintain a work health and safety management system (WHSMS) or elements thereof.

Performance Evidence

Evidence of the following is essential: developing, implementing, reviewing and maintaining a WHSMS WHS changes that have occurred as a result of the implementation of the WHSMS steps taken to ensure ongoing commitment to the WHSMS.

Assessment

Assessment must ensure access to: office equipment, resources and workplace documentation relevant Acts, regulations, codes of practice, standards and guidance materials.
