This unit involves the writing of a research or applied paper of publishable standard. The paper will cover a topic taken from the areas covered in other units within a masters or honours course offered by the School of Computer and Information Science. It draws upon the knowledge obtained in the course and applies this to a topic agreed to by the student and supervisor.
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
