Students in this unit are expected to develop and implement their research project, collect and analyse the data, verify and validate their strategies/techniques and write up their thesis. The research work should possess a high level of originality, representing a significant contribution to the IT profession.
Permission required
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
Review of the area under study using appropriate library and electronic resources. Discussions with supervisors and other acknowledged experts. Conference and School presentations. Writing papers for conferences and journals.

Students please note: The marks and grades received by students on assessments may be subject to further moderation. All marks and grades are to be considered provisional until endorsed by the relevant Board of Examiners.
