This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop techniques for integrating dancing with the acting and singing skills required of musical theatre performers.
Performance Evidence Evidence of the ability to: Develop a range of dance skills appropriate to musical theatre performances, Implement a suitable physical conditioning program. With partners and as an ensemble member, perform routines that: Integrate dancing and singing, Take the theatrical context into account. Work collaboratively. Improve own dance techniques in response to constructive feedback. Note: If a specific volume or frequency is not stated, then evidence must be provided for each of the above points at least once.
