Description

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage construction workshop operations for areas such as set construction, props manufacture and scenic art for productions in the screen, media, entertainment and events industries.

Performance Evidence

To integrate the interpretation of designs, specifications, budgets and schedules into the process of managing construction workshop operations, manage construction workshop operations for at least two projects or productions in at least two of the following speciality areas: art finishing props and manufacture set construction and manage a work teammeet deadlines. Note: If a specific volume or frequency is not stated, then evidence must be provided for each of the above points at least once.
