This unit will equip beginning teachers with the skills and appropriate pedagogical frameworks to build and deliver curriculum for the 21st century educational setting. It is designed to develop a research-supported, skills-based approach to integrating key web-based and app-based learning tools, combined with real-world examples of how these may be used in the classroom to build relevant, engaging learning experiences. This unit also focuses on building teacher competencies in using technologies and how they can engage in Personal Learning Networks (PLNs) which will become a source of support, inspiration and innovation as they begin their teaching journey.
