This unit requires students to apply the engineering principles and skills they have learned in their coursework units to a major engineering design or research project. The project is selected in consultation with an academic supervisor, and can be nominated by the supervisor, by the student, or by an industry partner. In this project unit students will identify and describe the design task or research problem and develop a project report recommending a solution or reporting outcomes to the design task or research problem.
