This unit provides an introduction to the management of construction projects and site works. Relevant standards, contract laws, tender processes, and works documentation are all covered. Issues concerning the use of sustainable construction practices, and minimisation of impacts on the construction workforce and the surrounding environment will be discussed. The full range of OH&S issues that might affect on-site staff will also be included.
All students must pass 1 units from ENS2159, ENS5159, ENS6139 AND Honours level students only must pass 1 units from ENS2260
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
