This unit examines the impact of the changing regulatory framework of education with a focus on accountability for the alignment of resources to improve student outcomes. The unit considers what makes an effective educational institution, risk management and review within the framework of the international context, national interests and state responsibilities. The changing nature of the relationship between different regulatory bodies is explored within the context of accountability for improved educational institution performance.
