Description

This unit investigates motion capture as an industry practice in the field of animation. Students integrate these techniques with digital compositing to complete advanced projects.

Prerequisite Rule

Students must pass 1 units from GDT2102

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Apply Motion Capture technology to digital media productions.
  2. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the digital media development process.
  3. Discuss the emerging role of compositing and mocap technology.
  4. Implement software and processes into practical industry-led applications.
  5. Produce digital media productions utilising compositing and mocap processes.

  3. Digital content production planning.
  4. Motion Capture theory and process.
