This unit will examine the concept of natural fertility, contraceptive methods that are used to limit fertility, and the effect of age upon fertility and reproduction. The current contribution of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) to the worlds population will be reviewed in conjunction with the associated health of children born following ART.
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
Students will attend on campus classes as well as engage in learning activities through ECU Blackboard.

Students will be taught through lectures and seminars which will be assessed, and learning will be supplemented with practical sessions.
