Description

Students will develop the skills required to follow a systematic process to manage occupational health and safety risk. Students learn the skills to assess a workplace for occupational safety and health risks using a variety of tools, formulate priorities and devise practical solutions to enhance workplace occupational safety and health.

This unit can be delivered fully online with all resources and materials accessed through Blackboard. Students need to have access to a personal computer and internet.

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Analyse and effective communicate occupational safety and health data to key stakeholder.
  2. Apply the risk management process to a workplace of their choice.
  3. Critically evaluated risk identification tools.

  5. Design and complete an incident report.
