Description
This unit is the second stage of a research project which will develop critical and analytical skills by undertaking and completing a research project in an area of relevance. The project is carried out on an individual basis. Research projects are supervised by staff who possess research interests and experience in the relevant area.
Prerequisite Rule
Students must pass 1 unit from HST6106
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
- Collect and analyse research data in the relevant area of specialisation.
- Evaluate and discuss research findings in relation to the research question and appropriate literature.
- Prepare a paper, suitable for publication in a journal or conference proceedings, which communicates methodology, findings and recommendations emanating from the project.
- Present a conclusion and recommendations for the implementation findings from the project, including limitations.
- Produce a written report to present the research findings in relation to current knowledge.
- Use appropriate statistical tools for data analysis.

Additional Learning Experience Information
