This unit focuses on the teaching and assessment of senior secondary courses in Media Studies. Students will examine senior secondary curricula, review and interpret relevant examination requirements and policies, and develop the instructional skills needed to build effective programs of work for senior Media classes. Demonstrations and examples in the unit will relate to Years 11 and 12. This unit is reliant on the beginning teacher's previous film and television experience as it does not include practical tutorials.
