In this unit, students will investigate aspects of the history and philosophy of science, as well as major advances in the fields of cardiac and skeletal muscle physiology, and human molecular biology.

On campus students will be required to attend a weekly 2 hour seminar and also access the University Learning Management System - Blackboard for unit materials. Online students will access the unit materials through the University Learning Management System - Blackboard. Online students will present a their seminars either on-campus or using an online software (such as Blackboard collaborate) in consultation with their unit coordinator.
