Students will be assisted to plan and develop modules of work appropriate for children in a year level of their choice. Particular attention will be paid to commercially produced mathematics and science support documents available to K-3 teachers. Opportunities will also be provided for students to explore, construct and assess science learning centres and to develop appropriate materials and strategies to assist parents to work effectively as partners in the teaching of mathematics in the early years of school.
