Description

In this unit students will be introduced to fundamental performance skills, through focused group studies. Students will perform in a workshop and masterclass environment, where they will also apply their individual programme of study that extends the depth and breadth of their studies.

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Apply musical skills to a range of projects.
  2. Demonstrate fundamental performance skills.
  3. Implement acquired skills in a variety of musical settings.
  4. Understand the role of their performance in different musical environments.

  1. Music interpretational skills.
  2. Project organisation and collaborative learning methods.
  3. Rehearsal, practice and performance techniques.
  4. Student learning through mentoring program.
