This unit will further develop the students understanding of the skills specific to artistic performance in Contemporary music. In particular, students will be required to acquire and demonstrate intermediate-level rhythmic, harmonic and melodic elements necessary for creative music interpretation. Commonalities and specialties of a variety of different musical conventions will also be examined.
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
Students will attend on campus classes as well as engage in learning activities through ECU Blackboard.
