This unit continues to develop fundamental interpretive and technical skills on an instrument (or voice type) of the student's choice. Repertoire is performed from a variety of historical periods in a stylistically appropriate manner. The student continues to develop strengths in performance, criticism, and repertoire knowledge as it relates to their instrument/vocal area. Individual performance skills will be studied with an emphasis on presentation.

On completion of this unit students should be able to:
