Description

In this unit students will implement advanced skills specific to their performances through focused studies. Students will work towards the implementation of specialised skills in a workshop and masterclass environment. The acquisition and utilisation of leadership skills will continue to be a focus.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Apply advanced performance skills.
  2. Demonstrate leadership skills in a variety of musical settings.
  3. Implement advanced musical skills to a range of projects.
  4. Perform in different musical environments.

Unit Content

  1. Music interpretational skills.
  2. Project organisation andcollaborative learning methods.
  3. Rehearsal, practice and performance techniques.
  4. Repertoire sourced from diverse international sources.

Learning Experience

Students will attend on campus classes as well as engage in learning activities through ECU Blackboard.
