Description

In this unit students will present their work and ideas for critical analysis and feedback on compositional and conceptual components. Students are expected to take on ideas suggested in the class and research relevant artists and artworks.

Prerequisite Rule

Students must pass 1 units from MUS2615

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Develop original works for their recital.
  2. Develop their ideas in response to criticism and comment.
  3. Present their work from a conceptual, analytical and technical standpoint to a seminar class.
  4. Respond appropriately to criticism.

Unit Content

  1. Discussion of issues relating to recital presentation of original work.
  2. Seminar presentations on the student's original work.

Learning Experience

Students will attend on campus classes as well as engage in learning activities through ECU Blackboard.
