Description
This is the second of two applied work integrated units which is delivered in association with NMY6101 and will further enable students to address their learning needs identified within their professional development plan.Within this unit students will design, implement and evaluate a second work integrated learning project specifically related to their professional development or that of their peers,which may or may not build upon work undertaken in NMY6101.
Prerequisite Rule
Students must pass 1 units from NMY6100
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
- Communicate the justification of the design and implementation of the intervention to appropriate groups.
- Critically reflect upon an area for improvement in their clinical setting.
- Critically reflect upon the relevance of their initiative in relation to national and international healthcare trends.
- Design a Professional Development Planpertinent to their professional role development.
- Design a sustainable intervention relating to their Professional Development Plan and area for improvement.
- Evaluate the intervention in conjunction with personal learning needs and industry benchmarks.
- Incorporate sound ethical and culturally responsive dimensions to the intervention design.
- Publish findings within the organisation in which they are situated, using appropriate media.
