This unit is designed to facilitate independent study, focusing on the formulation of a critical review of the literature, usually in the area of the students future project or research topic. The direction and dimensions of the study will be tailored to individual student needs at the discretion of the unit coordinator.

On completion of this unit students should be able to:
The student will negotiate an individual learning contract with an appointed faculty member. The content and resources required to fulfill the contract will be identified, and strategies and time frames determined. It is expected that the contract will directly reflect an issue or project specific to the student?s area of health specialisation.Off campus students will be faciliated by technology through Adobe Connect tutorials.
