This unit will explore the importance of governance, management and leadership in nursing. Contemporary management principles and leadership behaviours will be discussed. The National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards governing clinical practice will be examined as will the importance of the incorporation of quality improvement methodologies.
Students must pass 2 units from NPU3505 or NPP3101 and NUR3504 or NCS3202
Only students studying courses C33, Y61 or Y76 can enrol in this unit.
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
