This unit focuses on the management of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) processes. Students will explore occupational health and safety management systems, various accident investigation techniques as well as techniques for the evaluation and auditing of existing occupational safety management systems. Case studies drawn mainly from the mining, resources and the construction industries will be utilised to demonstrate industry best practice.
Students must have successfully completed either OHS6132 or OHS6205 before undertaking this unit.
