This unit is designed to allow students to undertake a special topic as an individualised programme of instruction and guided experience. Topics can be conducted as a work place integrated learning activity or via appropriate production, presentation and performance opportunities that arise in the university, community and professional environment. The objective is to allow students to independently explore more in-depth learning in a focused area of interest which is not available elsewhere in their course work. Entry into these units is subject to the applicant's suitability to the activity selected and the approval of the Course Coordinator. This unit will be conducted under close guidance of a supervisor with articulated project guidelines and objectives.
On completion of this unit students should be able to:
