Description

In this unit, students conduct a research project and then present a report under the supervision of their academic supervisor. The report is written up by the candidate in research thesis, or literature review and research project format, and submitted for examination by assessors.

Students must pass 1 units from PSY4160, PSY5189

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Analyse and interpret data in the context of relevant theory and literature to answer a research question relevant to psychology.
  2. Critically discuss the findings, implications, and recommendations arising from an empirical research study.
  3. Produce an integrated report on a research study for an academic audience.

Unit Content

  2. Implement a research project.
  3. Analyse, synthesise, and critically discuss findings.
